Vegas

January and February bring soccer tournaments every year.  Luckily, we go to warmer places for the tournaments.  Even in Vegas it gets cold.  Our games were at night and we did wear coats, hats and gloves.  During the day, the kids swam!  We loved the warmer weather.  More important we loved the company of each other.  It is so much more pleasant to go on vacation with older kids.  They understand, you can leave them for a few minutes, and we all (well kind of) like the same things.  We went to Pawn Stars (FUN), found one of the Sister Wives houses, and went to the place were Tanked is filmed. The kids loved these things.  Another day, we went to Circus Circus, Bass Pro Shop (seeing the real live mermaid)  M and M factory and the Coke store (these are the annual visits), of course the kids love it when we spend money on them. 
   Katie did not win, although did really well.  Vegas Cup is a difficult tournament, there are many California teams.  They are the best of the best, believe it or not Utah is not as good at soccer as many other states are.  Either way, we did not necessarily go for the soccer, that just gave us an excuse to be together.  Fun times.
