Rays, Conches and snorkeling....Oh My!

Grand Turk was our last port and it was my favorite port.   We had a excursion booked this day.  We got off the boat and made it to a small boat to go see the Manta rays. This was amazing, as when the boat pulled up to the beach they swarmed!  They are trained to come in knowing that they are going to be fed.  They are not confined, and are wild.  I was so excited, and could not get enough of them.  Ethan did not want to get close, he was more scared, but the girls loved them.  After the Manta rays we snorkeled, it was so much fun!!!  The kids loved it and did a great job!  The water was so clear and it was not very deep. amazing!!!

We got back on the boat and they tour guide jumped in the water dived down to the bottom of the ocean and retrieved a conch.  He then took out the conch cut it in pieces for us all to try.  Hannah, I and Katie were the only ones to eat it.  Not too exciting, but worth saying that we did it!

After returning to the beach the twins swam and the "lazy bums" relaxed.  All and All a good day.  I think this was my favorite stop!
