Moving On!

It's reflections time again, and all the kids participated (thanks to their parents). I dread the night before the due date as everything has to be put together just right. It seemed a little easier this year as Katie had a different due date a couple of weeks later.
Well, Jerra moved on two times (literature and film). It is about time. Katie seems to always have the luck when it comes to Reflections. She moves on almost every time. Jerra tries and tries and just never seems to go to the district. She did this time. It was so great to see her face at the assembly when she realized that she had won! Way to go Jerra and just keep trying, things always work out.
Needless to say Katie moved on too. This year Katie and Jerra are being judged against each other. In the Film category, there were only three moving on. Katie and Jerra were two of them. Yippee for them and their dad who took a while to put the video from the computer to the disc for them. Sometimes you wonder if it is worth all of the effort as it takes the parents as much time as it does the kids to complete the project! It's worth it, I know just have to complain a bit.
